The Nursing Assistant works flexibly as part of the nursing team to deliver quality care to patients. The primary activity will be to undertake a range of supervised direct care duties, which are clearly prescribed both in this document and in more detail in the core competency list for the grade. To carry out assigned tasks involving direct care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse.

Experience and qualifications:
Experience is not essential, however it is preferred, and we are looking for individuals with a desire to deliver compassionate care to our patients, promote our Trust values and are committed to providing high quality nursing care to our patients which full training will be provided. Nursing Assistants are key members of our team and work in a variety of our adult inpatient areas, delivering care in every imaginable setting, and are invariably the people who deliver the majority of hands-on nursing care, providing you with great job satisfaction from your role.
