The In-Patient Unit at Teddington Memorial Hospital sits at the heart of community health delivery in Richmond. Our 28 bedded unit supports the rehabilitation and care of local residents who need step up, step down and continuing care, and works integrally with our community and specialist nursing teams, our integrated health & social care reablement and response services, and primary and secondary care.
The staff in the community hospital deliver excellent care to people across South West London and they are highly valued by our community. The patient is the focus of our work, and the quality of care is paramount. We receive excellent feedback from our patients, relatives and commissioners.
You will work as a valued, key member of our nurse-led team. The model of care is led by a senior team that consists of a Clinical Service Manager, Lead Nurse and Lead Therapists who work collaboratively with an excellent team of nurses and health care assistants also supported by a dedicated team of therapists and general practitioners.
We offer commitment to the development of our staff and have supported our healthcare assistants to make a real difference through their experience and learning achievements. We support all of our healthcare assistants to achieve the care certificate and identify any further learning via a work-based competency framework.
