Role Overview
School Administrator supporting the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Sixth Form team, providing comprehensive administrative and pastoral support across the school primarily focused on Sixth Form provision.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and pastoral support across the school with a particular focus on Sixth Form provision.
- Work closely with students, staff and parents on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, multitask, and maintain a flexible “can‑do” approach.
- Exercise high discretion and professionalism at all times.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and the wider school community.
- Support other administrative areas and provide cover when needed.
Qualifications
- Warm, confident, professional manner with excellent communication and IT skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Highly organised, adaptable, able to multitask effectively, work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Positive, proactive, flexible attitude.
Working Hours & Salary
Permanent role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, start time 8:00 a.m. Term‑time plus 10 days in the school holidays. Salary circa £30,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
