What You'll Be Doing
As Sous Chef, you'll be second-in-command in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service, high standards, and inspiring food that keeps our guests coming back. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Leading, motivating, and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times
- Contributing to menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Managing stock control and placing supplier orders as needed
- Supporting the Head Chef with rota planning and labour management
- Championing a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
