About the Role and our Ideal Candidate
- Supporting senior surveyors with lease events, such as lease renewals, rent reviews, exercising break options and disposals.
- Work closely with legal services to monitor progress of lease events.
- Assist with writing reports and keeping senior management informed.
- Contact tenants and undertake inspections across the commercial property portfolio.
- Ensure rents are paid and assist with debt management and reporting.
About you
- To have completed and obtained a degree in estates management or similar from a RICS accredited course (Essential).
- To have some experience of lease management including landlord and tenant processes (Essential).
- To have a keen interest in property management and a willingness to support and learn from more experienced senior staff (Desirable).
- Have confidence to communicate with a range of stakeholders and keep them informed of progress (Essential).
- Be diligent and keep robust working records of caseload to ensure you are up to speed with progress or that you are aware of issues (Essential).
- Be able to work independently but not be afraid to ask for help when required, to be able to judge when you require help and when you can carry out tasks alone (Desirable).
