About the Role and our Ideal Candidate

You will support funded provision courses at Kingston Adult Education and be a first point of call for learner communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to service users and members of the public.
  • Monitor, follow up, track and liaise with learners and tutors about course attendance.
  • Provide information and answer queries from the main phone line and via digital correspondence.
  • Cover front line/reception duties, participate in intakes, document checks and enrolment session, class visits and exam invigilation.
  • Ensure that all relevant learner information and documentation is recorded and retained following department procedures.
  • Use the MIS system according to the role needs and expectations.

Qualifications

  • You should have considerable experience in customer service or educational delivery, handling confidential data and sensitive information, working with digital tools and systems.
  • You should be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • You should be able to work successfully with key stakeholders, including colleagues, tutors, learners and members of the public.
