Our client is an established and successful Manufacturing business, part of a group which has gone through exciting growth and is expanding across Europe. This is a global role that will lead the IT Enterprise Applications domain, reporting to the CIO, and responsible for the full lifecycle, from requirements management, selecting the solution, implementation of the software, and supporting it.
This global role will be part of establishing a lean demand management process and will create business value by harmonizing the IT enterprise application landscape and enabling efficient processes and functions. It will also have a key responsibility to fulfil security requirements, proactively working to secure IT Enterprise Application assets.
The Head of Enterprise Applications will be part of the IT leadership team and will ensure that the IT strategy is implemented and continuously improved. The company has ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years, both organic and through acquisitions, so the role will be key to enabling this growth and quickly bringing newly acquired companies into the IT strategy.
You will create a global IT enterprise application target picture, which will include an IFS ERP template, with clear standards for release management and rollouts.
Requirements:
- You must have strong experience of IT enterprise applications and IFS ERP, having held a similar position for over 5 years.
- Able to structure and motivate a global team and operate across multiple layers of stakeholders.
- Strong team player and able to work well with others in order to influence, collaborate and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge and experience in the general IT application and business process optimisation.
- Expert knowledge in IFS ERP, with multiple full lifecycle ERP template projects.
- Strong people skills, focused on developing colleagues into senior IT application roles and improving their business process skills.
