The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.
Please note that this post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2026.
The Commercial Industries and Access School at Kingston College is seeking a proactive Lecturer to teach on a variety of courses and levels across the Travel & Tourism curriculum area, including but not limited to: BTEC, NCFE, Levels 1, 2, 3. This could include Travel & Tourism units, business and events management units and aviation/cabin crew units.
You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one of the courses and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvements as directed by Head of Section and/or Head of School.
As our Lecturer, we’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and have excellent teaching skills and substantial relevant teaching experience on BTEC and/or NCFE programmes. With links to the industry, relevant external agencies and validating bodies, you will have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education and an awareness of academic quality standards.
You will be able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress, work well under pressure to agreed deadlines and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving.
The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
