Permanent, Part Time (0.4) We currently have an opening for a Lecturer – Performing Arts (with a Dance specialism) to teach on our Level 3 BTEC Dance course. This role requires a dynamic, proactive, highly organised individual who can effectively support students in a pastoral capacity too. You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and liaise with external verifiers/moderators as required. We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject and who can teach a wide range of dance disciplines, including Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet to the appropriate level. You will have suitable industry knowledge and experience and be able to support student progression. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 19th December 2024. The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 40 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.
