As part of our due diligence checks on prospective employees, successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, an online search and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. re looking to appoint a Lecturer to teach Biology related subjects on BTEC Level 3 Applied Science programmes. You will prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved. As our Lecturer, we’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent teaching skills in science. We’d like you to have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress. Receptive to new ideas and initiatives and with a creative approach to problem solving, you will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 21st March 2025. The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 40 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.
