Base pay range
28 hours per week, 38 weeks a year (Term Time Only)
Role Overview
The role of Learning Coach is a rewarding one, as you will support and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs, a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition, and/or with ESOL, English and Maths support needs to enable them to successfully complete their qualifications, courses and where appropriate, education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs; a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition; and/or with ESOL and English and Maths support needs.
- Help learners successfully complete their qualifications, courses and, where appropriate, education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
- Maintain high quality written records of learner progress and set appropriate smart targets based on EHCP outcomes, agreed support plans and coursework.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience is not essential – demonstrate the ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise, and communicate well at all levels.
- Good administration and computer skills.
- Willing to achieve a GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics (if not already held).

Hours will be discussed at interview stage.
Employment type: Contract – Entry level.
