The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.
Please note that this post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2026. Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Lecturer to teach GCSE Business predominantly to students aged 16-19 years of age. You will teach on one or more of the courses provided or serviced by the school and contribute to the development of existing and new provision and the implementation of flexible and cost-effective teaching and learning styles.
As an academic tutor for the GCSE course, you will prepare students for exams, mark class work, homework and mock exams and monitor students and curriculum development. We’re looking for someone who has excellent teaching skills in GCSE Business, has energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education and be able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.
We would like you to be hardworking and flexible, be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 40 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.
