We are seeking a Sessional Academy Football Coach to plan and deliver detailed coaching sessions, lead training for a squad or group, and potentially lead one of the match‑day squads. The role is part of our Football Academy, which bridges grassroots youth football with men's semi‑professional football and offers vocational qualifications in Sports Coaching/Sports Science.

Location & Schedule: London – The position commences on 16/06/2026 and involves a maximum of 11 hours per week, approximately 35 weeks per year. Coaches are required to cover training on Tuesdays and Fridays, with sessions starting at 8.30 am. Each session can be claimed for up to 3 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set up, and run coaching sessions independently.
  • Lead training for a squad or group and support match‑day squads (warm‑ups, team talks, in‑game information).
  • Maintain a consistent training schedule, including trials, taster days, and pre‑season activities, with flexible dates, times, and venues.
  • Drive to training venues (Goals Tolworth), home match‑day venue (Bedfont Sports Club), and Kingston College, using a personal vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of coaching experience with players aged 14 and above.
  • UEFA C Coaching qualification.
  • FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
  • FA Introduction to First Aid in Football.
  • Strong commitment, motivation, and discipline skills for working with young players independently.

Employment Details:

  • 11 hours per week (approximately 35 weeks per year).
  • Pay: £23.55 – £25.70 per hour, excluding holiday pay.
  • Eligible for an annual cost‑of‑living salary review.
  • Requires a valid driving licence with the ability to use a vehicle.
