Wellbeing Assistant – 3 months Max Term Contract – Part Time (32 Hours per week)

About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging wellbeing and lifestyle programs that support our residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. Whether it’s a group activity, a one-on-one conversation, or a special event, you’ll help create experiences that truly matter.
You’ll be working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, with the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to life in a workplace that values innovation and individuality.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead meaningful recreational and social activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Foster a sense of belonging and inclusion through community and cultural engagement
- Support individual wellbeing through emotional, spiritual, and one-on-one support
- Collaborate with families, staff, and external partners to enhance resident experience
- Assist in the development and review of individual wellbeing care plans
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and resident satisfaction

We’re seeking someone who is:
- Positive, self-motivated, and organised
- A natural communicator with empathy and a genuine love for working with people

- Committed to providing person-centred care with professionalism and heart
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred but not essential — we value the right attitude above all:
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or Allied Health Assistance
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and continuous improvement principles
- Experience in a residential aged care or wellbeing/lifestyle role
- Current Police Check and working rights in Australia
