We are working with a well-known business within the retail industry. Join a brand who pride themselves on their inclusive and dynamic culture. They are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team. This role would suit someone who has worked in a high-volume end to end role previously.

About the Role

Utilising your payroll knowledge, within various sectors, you will be responsible for:

• Processing end to end multiple payroll cycles, efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure payroll operations comply with all relevant laws and tax obligations.
• Assist in reviewing and enhancing payroll processes to improve efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Interpret and apply payroll legislation, including Awards, agreements, Acts, contracts, and company policies, while providing clear guidance to stakeholders.
• Processing leave calculations including maternity, annual and personal leave etc.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years\\\’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with awards and complex EBA\’s
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines
• Strong processing of high-volume end to end payroll experience
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
