Our City Works team maintains and enhances Kingston\’s essential infrastructure, ensuring safe, functional community facilities that serve our diverse population of over 170,000 residents.
The role
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests and building defects
• Support major building projects and renovations across Council properties
These roles offer variety and purpose – you\’ll work across diverse facilities from community centres to sporting pavilions, directly contributing to spaces where our community gathers, learns, and thrives.
About you
• Experience in general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical basics, and repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Current driver\’s license and commitment to workplace safety
