We are looking for a reliable and supportive Personal Assistant to assist PG1 with practical day‑to‑day tasks and maintaining their independence. The role may include shopping, meal preparation, laundry, household tasks, organising the home, collecting prescriptions, medication reminders, attending appointments and accessing the community. Support will also include helping PG1 get started with tasks when motivation is difficult. This may involve body doubling, where the Personal Assistant works alongside PG1 to help with focus and progress, as well as gentle prompting with routines and remembering important tasks. The Personal Assistant should be able to provide consistency, adapt their approach depending on PG1’s needs on the day, and have an understanding of neurodivergence, chronic pain and burnout, or a willingness to learn.

The role would suit someone patient, reliable and understanding, with a calm, collaborative and person‑centred approach.

Hours: 6 hours per week, ideally arranged as three 2‑hour sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Exact times are flexible and can be agreed with the Personal Assistant.
