We are looking for a reliable, caring and compassionate Personal Assistant to support BCL, a 79-year-old woman in Surbiton. The role will mainly involve companionship and support to help her stay independent and active. This will include accompanying her to a regular fitness class in Kingston, as well as going for walks, visiting the supermarket, attending social activities and occasional medical appointments. There may also be some light practical support at home, such as putting groceries away and helping with small day-to-day tasks.
A PA with access to a car would be preferred, to support with transport to activities and appointments.
The role would suit someone patient, respectful, positive and encouraging who enjoys chatting and spending time with people, while supporting someone to maintain their independence and social life.
Hours: 4 hours per week, every Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Pay rate: £17.30 per hour (PAYE) or £18.17 per hour (self-employed).
