Role Overview

Practice Education (Placement Activity) accounts for up to 50% of a student’s course when studying a professional degree and is imperative to ensure our students have the relevant opportunity to gain experiences and the required skills for their chosen profession. The Placement Coordinator’s role is to oversee high quality, efficient and effective placement administrative support for students, academics, and placement providers. The post holder will utilise their extensive administrative skills to support the workings of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee high‑quality placement administrative support for students, academics, and placement providers.
  • Refine and input placement data.
  • Use excellent communication and negotiation skills to support placement allocations.
  • Process documentation on behalf of students.
  • Maintain efficient and effective placement processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Enthusiastic, proactive and organised individual.
  • Excellent ICT and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team player, able to collaborate across the team.
  • Experience in administrative support in an educational or similar setting preferred.
