Position Overview: Lecturer in Accounting & Finance – Kingston Business School, Kingston Hill, UK. Two full‑time, permanent positions within the Department of Accounting, Finance and Informatics.

Hours: 37 per week. Salary: £45,025.00 to £48,820.00 per annum.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and enhancement of the Accounting and Finance portfolio through high‑quality teaching, assessment, module leadership and student support. You will be expected to teach across a range of Accounting & Finance subjects, contribute to curriculum development, quality enhancement and student recruitment activities. The role also provides an opportunity to develop and maintain an active programme of research aligned to Kingston University’s Research Domain Framework. You will contribute to the Department’s research culture through publications, conference participation, collaborative research projects and engagement with external partners.

Qualifications: Hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in Accounting or Finance or related discipline. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. Show an ability to teach Accounting and Finance subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and support diverse student cohorts. Have a developing research profile evidenced through a publication pipeline, conference presentations or other scholarly activities, together with a clear plan for future research development. Effective communication skills, inclusive teaching, academic citizenship and collaborative working. Experience of module leadership, curriculum development and engagement with professional accreditation requirements within Accounting and Finance would be advantageous.

Location & Working Conditions: Location: Kingston Hill (Kingston Business School). Staff are expected to be on campus for the majority of the working week. Eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 is required.
