TRAINEE VEHICLE MECHANIC - Stroud, Gloucestershire (GL6) Recruitment Specialists Kingston Barnes Ltd are currently recruiting for a Trainee or Junior Mechanic for a permanent role based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, (GL6 Postcode area) FULL DETAILS = Positions Available = Trainee or Junior Mechanic Start Date = As soon as possible Duties = Working with and learning from an experienced team, you will be working as a fitter/mechanic to repair and maintain a growing fleet of vehicles and plant.
The work ranges from small items of two stroke equipment to larger HGVs and construction plant.
There will be training, so a trainee or junior Mechanic or newly qualified person would be ideal for this position.
Pay Rate & Hours = £15.00 per hour & 40 hours per week. (Equates to a salary of £31,200 per year) Other details =
- This is a permanent position.
- Applicants need to be able to drive the company vehicles, so a full driving licence held for over 2 years is essential.
- Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am until 5pm, Friday 8am until 2pm
- 20 days holidays per year plus bank holidays paid.
- There will be an opportunity to complete training including obtaining a category C, HGV licence.
