SITE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE We are currently recruiting for a Site Operative to work for one of our clients in Portbury on a temp to perm basis. This is a hands-on role responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance and presentation of the site and grounds. The successful candidate will be practical, reliable and happy working outdoors, carrying out a variety of general maintenance and site duties. Key Responsibilities: * General upkeep and maintenance of the site and surrounding grounds. * Keeping car parks, walkways and working areas clean, tidy and presentable. * Painting and maintaining car parking lines and markings. * Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance around the site. * Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. * General grounds maintenance and keeping outdoor areas in good condition. * Moving materials, equipment and other items around the site as required. * Assisting with general site duties and upkeep. * Ensuring the site remains safe, clean and well maintained. * Using basic hand and power tools where required. * Supporting the wider site team with ad-hoc maintenance tasks. The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience in site maintenance, grounds maintenance, facilities, general maintenance or a similar role is desirable. * Practical and confident carrying out minor repairs. * Comfortable using basic hand and power tools. * Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions. * Physically fit and comfortable with manual work. * Good attention to detail, particularly when painting car park markings. * Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. * Good understanding of general health and safety. * A full UK driving licence is desirable. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in keeping a large site clean, safe and well presented.
