Bridgwater | £33,000 per annum | 12-Hour Shifts |4 on 4 off Days and Nights | Permanent
Are you a practical, hands-on individual with experience working in a manufacturing, production, Warehouse or FMCG environment?
We’re recruiting for a Serviceman to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production site where you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the operation.
The Role
Working as part of the production team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the production lines, managing materials and waste, and ensuring machinery and ancillary equipment are kept running efficiently.
You’ll work across the site and will be trained to operate a range of equipment, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, varied role.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the smooth running of production lines.
Ensuring raw materials are available to meet production requirements.
Managing waste products, including regrind and purge material.
Operating and maintaining ancillary equipment such as grinders, colour sorters and de-laminators.
Carrying out quality checks and completing relevant documentation.
Keeping machinery and working areas clean, safe and organised.
Following all Health & Safety, quality and hygiene procedures.
Supporting the wider production team where required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience within manufacturing, production or FMCG.
Has a practical and hands-on approach to work.
Has a forklift license
Is comfortable working around machinery and production equipment.
Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
Understands the importance of Health & Safety and quality standards. xsabvtc
