Kingston Barnes are recruiting for Process Operators for our client in the West Brom area. Our client has been well established for over 250 years. They are the UK’s largest independent manufacturers of organic chemicals.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring of chemical reactions
  • Undertaking distillations, separations, transfers, filtrations, and powder handling
  • The use of vacuum systems, nitrogen, and control panels
  • Following GMP principles in the designated areas
About you:
  • Proven experience as a process operator
  • Background in a chemical manufacturing environment (Ideally)
  • Excellent attitude towards health and safety
  • Familiar with COSHH and risk assessments
  • Prior understanding of chemicals manufacturing, large scale processes, Hazardous Areas (ATEX) and Intrinsic Safety would be preferred.
  • IOSH Working Safely qualification (Ideally)
  • Counter Balance Forklift truck license (Beneficial)
