The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Sales Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading player in the engineering & manufacturing sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity which includes providing support to the sales team, ensuring customers received accurate quotations, technical product information, and excellent service throughout the sales process.

This role is a critical business role, ensuring customer satisfaction, supporting growth and ensuring accurate sales and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely quotations for replacement pumps and spares in line with company KPIs.
  • Provide proactive administrative and customer support to the sales team.
  • Build and maintain positive, long-term customer relationships that support retention and growth.
  • Review customer specifications and technical requirements, helping to identify appropriate products and solutions.
  • Coordinate technical queries between customers and internal specialists to ensure a responsive and efficient service.
  • Maintain accurate customer, product and pricing information within the ERP system.
  • Prepare monthly customer KPI reports, sales presentations, proposals and tender documentation.
  • Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and compliant with company procedures

About you

  • Previous experience preparing and issuing technical customer quotations.
  • Experience in sales administration, sales support or technical administration.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, industrial or technical product environment.
  • Experience within the pumps and/or wastewater industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
  • A Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience
