Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Mechanical service technician/Mechanical service engineer for one of our engineering clients. With a fantastic starting salary up to 36,500 and the potential to earn even more with door-to-door OT rates, this is a great opportunity.
The Role: The right candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and troubleshooting machinery. The role requires a skilled experienced mechanical fitter/technician who can work from mechanical drawings.
- Undertake mechanical service/fitting on customer sites
- Respective site work is carried out to a high standard
- Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
- Ensure effective communication with customers and internal contacts at all times
- Manage expense and mileage budget efficiently
- Core hours are 7.00 - 3.30.
The Candidate:
- Mechanical service/fitting background
- From Medium/Heavy industry
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- Welding experience ideal
- Commutable to Rotherham
