The Role:
- Complete aerospace assembly and fitting operations in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications and approved processes.
- Fit, assemble and finish components using appropriate hand tools, measuring equipment, fixtures and assembly aids.
- Accurately perform ancillary processes including, but not limited to, part marking, serration, varnishing and deburring.
- Inspect own work and correctly use precision measurement equipment to verify conformity to specification.
- Maintain full traceability and accurately complete production, inspection and quality documentation, both physical and digital.
- Identify and report non-conforming parts, assembly issues or discrepancies in drawings and instructions through the appropriate company process.
- Maintain a clean and controlled working environment, following FOD prevention and good housekeeping requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance in accordance with company TPM procedures.
- Comply with company procedures and policies, including Health and Safety and quality requirements.
