The Company: Our client is an independently owned solar company, established in 2012 and based in Gloucestershire. They are a privately owned, smaller contractor with a team that takes pride in doing things properly.
The Opportunity: Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a skilled electrician to join their growing team in Gloucestershire.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing and commissioning solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers
- Working with premium systems including FoxESS, Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge and SunPower
- Full electrical first and second fix
- Inspection, testing and commissioning
- Customer handovers, including monitoring apps and system setup
- Working to BS 7671, MCS requirements
- Working as part of a small, experienced team where your ideas are genuinely valued
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 / AM2 qualified electrician (or equivalent)
- Current 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Full UK driving licence
- Living within approximately 30 minutes of Gloucestershire
- A pride in producing clean, professional installations and leaving sites tidy
Solar experience isn't essential - If you're a great electrician who hasn't worked in solar yet they offer a high level training programme. It is important they have the right person with the right attitude and electrical skills.
