Project Coordinator & IT Support Gloucestershire Job Type: Full-time Reporting to: Systems & Compliance Director The Company: An established construction company based in Gloucestershire are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team and play an important role in supporting head office, I.T and site teams. The Role: This is a varied role combining construction administration, document and compliance management, procurement support and basic IT assistance.You don't need to be an IT technician. They are looking for someone who is organised, practical and confident using technology, with the ability to support colleagues with everyday IT and digital issues. As Project Coordinator, you will be a key point of contact between head office, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. You'll help keep projects running smoothly by ensuring information, documentation, purchasing and compliance records are accurate and up to date. This role would suit someone with previous administration experience who enjoys a varied working environment and is comfortable learning new systems and technology. Key Responsibilities Construction & Office Administration Provide day-to-day administrative support to the construction team. Maintain accurate digital and paper-based project records. Assist with subcontractor onboarding Maintain subcontractor records and ensure required documentation is filed correctly. Check delivery notes against invoices and purchase orders. Maintain accurate records for plant hire and equipment. Act as a central point of communication between head office, Site Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. Compliance & Document Management Maintain digital compliance registers and ensure information remains current. Monitor subcontractor insurance and other required documentation. Organise project files, reports, photographs and site records. Assist with ensuring site documentation is uploaded and stored correctly. Support the team with general construction compliance administration. Basic IT & Systems Support Set up and prepare laptops, tablets and mobile devices for site teams. Configure basic mobile applications and user accounts. Provide first-line support to site staff with everyday technical issues. Help colleagues with password resets, MFA issues, app syncing and basic connectivity problems. Support the setup of basic temporary site office equipment, including routers, network switches and printers. About You They’re looking for someone who is: Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Confident using computers and everyday technology. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Able to learn new software and systems quickly. A clear and confident communicator. Comfortable communicating with people with different levels of technical experience. Reliable, professional and able to work independently. Calm and methodical when dealing with unexpected issues
