Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for one of our clients covering a patch of the Midlands and surrounding counties. The Company: A company is a well-respected manufacturer operating in the Materials Handing industry (lifts and elevators). They work with major brand names such as Amazon, Davies Turner, GXO, John Lewis, and Ocado. This company are responsible for the manufacture, design, install and all aftersales of their products. This company has extremely high standards and prides themselves in providing top quality service to their customers. The Role: Within the role of the Mechanical Service Engineer, you will be tasked with the installing, maintenance, service visits, repairs, commissioning and breakdown response for all company machinery. This role will require you to cover a patch of the Midlands and surrounding areas, this will require some stay away so ideally a candidate with experience of staying away will be successful. The candidate that will be successful will be someone who demonstrates a good working attitude, has good interpersonal skills and has a mechanical background. Equipment includes: Box lifts, Carton Lifts, Bulk material handling solutions. Requirements: * NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification essential * Great Mechanical knowledge and skills * Mechanical and/or engineering qualification * Experience as a field engineer would be desirable * Materials Handling industry exposure * Experience with wheels, shafts, belts and conveyors * Use of SAP service application (desirable) * Good interpersonal skills Benefits: * Salary – £40,000 * Holiday – 25 days + Banks * Pension – 5% company , employee 4% after probation * Benefits – IPhone, IPad, Life insurance, EAP, medical insurance after probation, Annual profit share – amount dependant on actual profit * Company Van - (Terms to be agreed – Work purpose mainly with a small personal mileage allowance within reason) Fuel Card * Hours of work – Mon-Thu, 08:00 – 16:30 (45 minutes lunch) Fri, 08:00 – 15:30 (1 hour lunch) * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position * Benefits: * Company car * Company pension * On-site parking * Private medical insurance
