Have you set and operated CNC lathes? Can you produce parts to tight tolerances? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner one of our manufacturing clients in the Bristol area.

The Role:

  • Setting and operating CNC lathes
  • Installing workpieces, fixtures and cutting tools
  • Production of high-quality detail parts
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Adherence to specifications and quality standards

About you:

  • Experienced CNC lathe Setter
  • Experience with Fanuc Controls
  • Experience with twin spindle, multi-axis Lathes (desirable)
  • Experience with offline programming (desirable)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems etc)
  • Experience using measuring equipment
