The Role
You’ll be responsible for operating CNC machinery within our Machine Shop, producing precision components to exacting standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate one or more CNC machines.
Carry out daily machine checks and keep accurate records.
Report non-conformances and minimise scrap.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
Support apprentices and new team members.
Work with the Production Team Leader to meet delivery targets.
What We’re Looking For
Engineering qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
CNC machine competence, with basic programming knowledge.
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
What’s on Offer
Pay: £26,832 + £7,785 shift allowance (37.5 hrs/week). Up to £34,617 package
Shifts: Double Days – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm.
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays.
