The Role: To plan, coordinate and control the resources of people, materials and equipment employed within the Machine Shop & Production Engineering departments to ensure that products are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced on time within a CNC manufacturing environment.
- Leading and guiding the Production Engineering team and Machining team to identify methods of manufacturing which deliver continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Monitor the requirements of the Master Shipment Plan – Shortage list, and support planning with expected completion dates for the work to be carried out.
- Meet daily with the Machine Shop Team Leaders to check and monitor progress against the product.
