They are recruiting for a CNC operator to join their team and help ensure products are up to standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting and operating CNC lathes or mills
  • Producing parts to drawing, including deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
  • Ensuring quality through inspection using gauges, verniers and micrometers
  • Working to SOPs, production rates, FLOAC, maintenance and cleanliness standards
  • Adhering to EHS requirements and supporting continuous improvement activities
  • Being flexible to support other duties, including training others where required
  • Owning personal development and always demonstrating company core values

Experience & Skills:

  • Basic CNC operating experience
  • Experience using measuring equipment desirable
  • Desirable ability to read engineering drawings and CNC programs
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in manufacturing desirable
  • Understanding of working in a production environment and commercial impact

Salary/Package:

£30,000 - £35,000 base salary.
