Are you seeking an HGV Class 2 Driving job in Southall working for a logistics company in a brand‑new depot? This permanent role offers a stable base and a clear progression pathway.

Job Opportunity

You will operate around the Southall depot (UB2), completing 6–8 drops per shift (route dependent) to a well‑known retail store. The route you know will be preferred, delivering rolling cages/pallets on light work to out‑base customers.

Shifts: Monday–Friday, starting at 04:00 am. Most bank holidays are worked, with a day off in lieu. You will typically work around 48 hours per week; overtime is paid at £17 per hour.

Pay: Guaranteed 8‑hour minimum per shift. Base salary at £35,360 per year (40 hrs/week). With an average of 48 hrs/week your on‑target earnings are £42,432 per year. 28 days holiday per year.

Responsibilities

  • Complete 6–8 drops per shift, route dependent, delivering rolling cages/pallets.
  • Operate full‑time, starting at 04:00 am, Monday‑Friday.
  • Work around 48 hrs/week, with overtime paid at £17/hr.
  • Maintain safety and compliance, using a Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card.

Key Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 licence with Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card.
  • Minimum 2 years experience on an HGV Class 2.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to solve basic problems and make routine decisions.
  • No DR10 licence.
