Kingston Barnes are pleased to be recruiting for a well-established and expanding manufacturing organisation based in Bristol. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. The company operates across multiple sites and offers a wide range of advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The Role
- Leading 8D problem‑solving activities for internal and supplier complaints, from initial containment through to verification.
- Supporting goods in‑wards quality containment activities.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement actions.
- Supporting supplier audits and performing internal audits.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and aerospace standards.
About You
- Suitable qualification in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (HNC, Degree, HND).
- 5+ years’ experience working in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within manufacturing.
- Full knowledge of AS9100 Rev D.
- Experience producing FAIRs to AS9102 Rev C.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, SPC, metrology / inspection methods, and 8D methodology.
- ASQ certification (desirable).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
