A major build. A long term pipeline. Real responsibility from day one. Kingston Barnes is partnering with a leading construction and project consultancy to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor / Manager for a flagship advanced manufacturing development in Bristol. This is not a box ticking role. We’re looking for someone who wants to be properly involved in a technically challenging, high value project from inception through to completion. Someone confident enough to challenge standards where needed, build strong relationships on site and help drive a proactive Health & Safety culture across a major scheme. The project itself is a complex, high specification development with multiple stakeholders, demanding standards and a strong long term pipeline behind it.

The Role:

  • Lead Health & Safety across a major new build project
  • Work closely with the client, contractor and wider delivery teams
  • Support the project from pre-construction through to handover
  • Carry out audits, inspections and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and best practice
  • Influence planning, logistics and site standards from day one
  • Drive a positive, high performance safety culture on site

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven construction Health & Safety experience
  • Background on large, complex or technically challenging projects
  • Experience working with a main contractor or consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle
  • NEBOSH qualification essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Someone credible, organised and confident challenging where required
