The Role: The Electronics Engineer will join a small, skilled team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing inverter systems at PCB component level. This is a hands-on position within a technical repair environment, suited to someone with an eye for detail and a genuine passion for electronics. You’ll be working alongside two other technicians and an administrative coordinator, typically repairing five to six units per day, with around 75 in progress at any given time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair inverter PCBs and components for solar and wind energy systems.
  • Perform detailed soldering, desoldering, and circuit board-level repairs.
  • Read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Conduct functional and quality testing post-repair to ensure system reliability.
  • Liaise with customers or account managers regarding repair progress when required.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and follow internal processes.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to developing new repair techniques.

Essential Skills:

  • PCB Repair experience
  • Experience soldering PCB to component level
  • HNC Manufacturing
