Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical PM Days Engineer for one of our clients. The Engineer is required to undertake electrically biased maintenance on state of the machinery within an industrial manufacturing site. Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with excellent starting salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical equipment within the area and perform front-line electrical maintenance.
  • Split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility.
  • Apply good technical knowledge; supervisory experience is required.
  • The site is semi-automated and uses a mixture of PLCs.
  • Experience fault finding on PLCs would be considered, though not essential.
  • Receive training to improve PLC and SCADA skills.

Candidate / Qualifications:

  • Electrical maintenance background.
  • PLC experience (ideally Allen Bradley).
  • Supervisory, or management of an area ideal (or ability or willingness to do this).
  • Electrical apprenticeship and qualifications or similar.
  • Understanding of planned maintenance and shutdowns.
  • HNC in electrical engineering ideal or above.
