Quality Inspector – Bristol – £38,480 with great additional benefits. Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with an aerospace or engineering background? Do you have experience with CMM and Metrology equipment? Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client in the Bristol area. Our client is a manufacturer of specialised parts for the aerospace industry.
About the Company
Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry. They're an established business in their field and work with market-leading names to assist them with the manufacturing of parts.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform measurements using CMM and optical equipment, recording results digitally.
- Support quality checks throughout production and report findings.
- Analyse data to aid calibration and process improvement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes.
- Supporting the Machining teams where required.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
About you
- Experience using manual and CNC CMM and other measurement equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in inspecting components to tight tolerances and selecting appropriate measuring tools.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (AS/EN/JISQ 9100) and supporting NCRs, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Motivated, flexible, and a strong team player who is open to learning and feedback.
- Committed to maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
