We are looking for reliable and hardworking Battery Handling Operatives to join our port operations team. This role involves handling vehicle batteries, charging them safely, and reinstalling them into vehicles as part of daily operational activities. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced automotive and logistics environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Removing batteries from vehicles
  • Moving batteries safely to charging stations
  • Placing batteries on charge and monitoring charging processes
  • Removing charged batteries from charging stations
  • Reinstalling batteries into vehicles
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Keeping the work area clean and organised
  • Supporting the wider operations team when required

Requirements
