The Role
Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established distribution centre in Avonmouth, specialising in clothing and footwear. This is a varied role, with approximately 50% warehouse duties and 50% Counterbalance FLT driving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on position.
Working Hours
Weekly rotating shifts: 05:00 - 13:30, 12:30 - 21:00
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Replenishing stock locations
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Following all health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Good warehouse experience
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- A flexible approach to rotating shifts
