Our client, a well-established materials recovery and recycling company, is currently recruiting Sorting Line Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis (12 weeks). This is a great opportunity to secure long-term employment within a busy, modern, and safety-focused industrial environment. Full training will be provided, so no previous experience is required.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 16:00
- 9.5 hours paid per shift
- 47.5 hours per week
- Two 30-minute breaks (one paid, one unpaid)
Pay Rates:
- First 40 hours: £12.71 per hour + holiday allowance £1.53 = £14.24
- Overtime (after 40 hours): £19.07 per hour (x1.5)
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on a sorting line separating and processing recyclable materials
- Removing non-conforming or unwanted items from the conveyor line
- Carrying out basic quality checks
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety around the workstation
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
