We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while managing a team of production staff.
First line Supervisor responsible for leading teams in the High Risk & Despatch areas to produce our outstanding quality of the products ensuring compliance with standards and policies while always pursuing and promoting continuous improvement.
Location: Bristol, BS10 (Brentry)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 1200-2100
Pay: £15.50 per hour plus holiday pay
Main Duties:
- Schedule and organise staffing to deliver on planned production volumes
- Responsible for the operational performance in your area by ensuring the production plan is attained in the time and costs targets while maintaining high quality standards
- Motivate and develop team members to ensure processes are followed and maximise performance
- Ensuring a safe working environment for all
- Responsible for the traceability of the products within your area (use of raw material, semi-finished goods and waste)
You will be responsible for:
- People
- Machinery/ Equipment, including but not limited to: packing machine, metal detector, ovens, chillers, fridges, packing line, dispatch area, trays and packaging
Understand the risks associated with the area within which you work and the equipment that you work with. Ensure all accidents & near misses are reported to a manager. Support the senior management team in efforts to improve site safety by highlighting areas for improvement.
