We are seeking a Food Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, lead and support the production team, and ensure consistently high standards across the site. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining excellent food safety and operational efficiency.
Location: Southmead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 21:00
Salary: £32,000 - £33,000 DOE
Contract: First 12 weeks via agency, paid weekly
The Role:
- Supervise daily food production operations, ensuring quality and food safety standards are met
- Implement and maintain HACCP procedures across the production process
- Train, support and manage production staff to ensure best practice is followed
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering to meet production demands
- Carry out regular equipment and site inspections, reporting maintenance issues where required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of production, safety checks and staff training
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a food production supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP
- Mechanical awareness of food processing equipment
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Confident with basic maths for stock control and reporting
