Kingston Barnes are recruiting 3.5T drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth in Bristol (BS11). The positions are 12 weeks temp to perm which means that for the first 12 weeks you will be employed by Kingston Barnes and after 12 weeks the client will offer you a permanent contract directly with them.

The roles are working either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday and the start times will be 6am. The roles will involve delivering bulky items to customers and completing around 10 drops per shift. There will be heavy lifting involved, however, you will always be working with another person as a two men crew.

Job Role:

  • Delivering a range of products (which will include furniture and white goods) to businesses and private customers
  • Completing between 10-12 deliveries per shift
  • Using PODs to record deliveries (training provided)
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Adhering to driving rules and regulations
  • Liaising with the depot regarding any queries or your progress throughout the day

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid UK Cat B licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
  • Great customer service skills
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Willingness to work with another colleague
