Kingston Barnes are recruiting 7.5T Drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth in Bristol. We have both full-time and part-time positions available; please contact us to discuss your availability and preferences. The start times for these roles will be 6am and the shifts will vary between 8-12 hours long. The client is happy to accept newly qualified drivers and provide you with all the necessary training, so if you have just passed your test, this is a great opportunity to start your career as an HGV driver.

Job Role

  • Delivering household items and building materials to customers' homes which may involve heavy lifting
  • Completing up to 15 deliveries per shift
  • Working with another colleague from time to time (either another driver or a porter)
  • Providing exceptional customer service

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid UK Cat C1 (7.5 tonne) licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
  • Valid CPC and Tacho cards
  • Great customer service skills
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Physical fitness
  • Own transport to get to Avonmouth for 6am starts
  • Willingness to work with another colleague as and when required
