Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry. Theyre an established business in their field and work with market-leading names to assist them with the manufacturing of parts. The Role: You will be responsible for ensuring the continued production and supply of conforming parts. This is a critical position to the business. Responsibilities include: Inspect and verify products meet quality standards and specifications. Actively ensure no product non-conformity escapes to customers Perform measurements using CMM and optical equipment, recording results digitally. Support quality checks throughout production and report findings. Analyse data to aid calibration and process improvement.
About you: Experience using manual and CNC CMM and other measurement equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Skilled in inspecting components to tight tolerances and selecting appropriate measuring tools. Knowledge of quality management systems (AS/EN/JISQ 9100)
Benefits: £39,249.60 per year 37 hour working week, Double days Monday to Thursday 6am
2pm, 2pm
10pm, Fridays 6am
11am, 11am
