Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new position? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility? Do you have experience maintaining and fault-finding on FMCG machinery? Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.

The Role:

  • As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges.
  • Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.

A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship) is required, along with proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production. A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset are essential. Familiarity with SAP systems is desirable.

Salary/Benefits:

  • £51,623 including shift allowance.
  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%.
  • Life assurance 6x your salary.
  • 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 am - 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights).
