Muri Skilled Maintenance Engineer (NO NIGHTS) Dursley

Are you an Electrically biased or Multi Skilled Shift Engineer who is looking for no nights working? Are you looking for a role that is focused on planned maintenance with minimal downtime?

Can you diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults? We are recruiting an exciting position for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working in the Dursley area.

You will be responsible for keeping our plant and equipment running safely and efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Working closely with the Production team, you will help improve equipment reliability, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will take ownership of electrical systems, ensure safety standards are met and support root cause investigations following significant breakdowns. This is a shift-based role (NO NIGHTS), reporting to the Engineering Manager.

  • NVQ level 3 qualified or similar
  • Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing automated equipment & processes including pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation-controlled systems
  • Strong diagnostic experience gained in high volume manufacturing or process environment
  • Experience within a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment; if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Electrically biased or multi-skilled.
  • PLC experience highly desirable.
  • Experience of SAP highly desirable.
